Ken Kinchen Ken Started teaching Ballroom in 1988 and opened his first Ballroom Studio in 1990. In 1993 Ken Moved to Roanoke and shortly thereafter saw a need for professional level Ballroom dance training in the Roanoke Valley. In response to this he opened American Dance Centers in 1994. American Dance Centers is the premier independent Ballroom studio in the Valley, Ken's approach isn't to just teach you steps but to teach you how to dance. Kens absolute favorite dances are Tango and Cha-Cha, but he loves all the dances. Ken's favorite part of teaching is working with someone who doesn't think they can dance and showing them that they can, and making them shine!
